You know the '80s song "Physical" by Olivia Newton-John? Okay, now sing it and replace the word "physical" with "fiscal." "Let's get fiiiscal, fiiiscal". See, doesn't getting into finances seem a little less intimidating? Tera actually named her budget this the first time she opened up her finances to me and I loved it. Facing our finances can be tough, but this community is here to be your guide and help increase your confidence in facing your situation head on.

Part I: To create an environment where people are not afraid to share their financial experiences and can do so safely in a community where we all learn from mistakes without judgment, to grow wiser together. Using these diverse insights, we can build wealth together, and can build a more equal and fair world for all.

Part II: For the face that you imagine when you think of “wealth” not to look like one specific type of person, but to look like anyone’s face including your own. Then, through the growth of our community, "wealthy" looks like your friends and family too! 

Part III: We want to connect you with those who are talking about, writing about and excelling in finances! We tell the stories of individuals and bloggers to expand your financial network.

This community is for anyone! Whether you are casually interested in learning about finances or you are an aggressive spender, saver, investor, or debt slayer. The tips, guides and blogs on this page will be written in a way that can help anyone. 

The intent of the community is so that guest bloggers, readers and myself can share our experiences and learnings to help others. Our goal is that guest bloggers come from a diverse background of genders, ages, ethnicities,  races, professional backgrounds, education levels, socioeconomic upbringings, religions, relationship interests and statuses. This community values the differences and similarities in both personal and financial goal-related topics. Writers will talk about their different financial goals and interests: budgeting, saving, investing, debt slaying, credit score improvement, and securities.

1. Some people say things along the lines of you can’t learn from people who don’t have what you want. In this community this is not true. We will learn from what everyone has done right and what everyone has done wrong, and will become more aware of the options and obstacles that others face in their lives as well as their opportunities and blessings. Together we will build the ultimate toolbox that can help anyone achieve financially.                                                                                                                                                         
2. In this community, everyone can be a teacher and everyone can be a student. I have learned so much from other blogs, books, and podcasts. Sometimes the learning isn’t even related to money. This blog is focused on money management but you and I may learn many other things along the way! 
3. Your life, your goals! We will be sharing our stories and things that helped us along the way. We will share things we’ve learned from other gurus. We encourage you to read, learn and apply what works for you. Feel free to share in the blog comments what you find helpful or what is not effective for you. Financial goals are personal and in this community, we respect that.

 As we grow together you will find more content from more spaces and faces so please practice both patience and participation. We want this community to be the one-stop-shop of financial journeys and experience rather than having to find and follow many blogs. We aim to break the communication silos around money  so that everyone can have access to learn and grow.
